Analysing & Designing
An important aspect in the building of any structure is analyzing its behavior and response to various forms of loading and then designing each and every member while keeping costs and stability in mind.
BIM contains structural information such as element type and element attributes (area, a moment of inertia, etc.). After combining all of this data, a structural model is created, complete with boundary conditions, loads, and other variables, which is then integrated into the structural analysis model.
After the model has been finalized, the structural safety study can begin, resulting in a final layout and construction documents that have been updated with the amended information.
